There are several challenging opportunities for a range of abilities: Mera Peak, at 6654 meters, is the highest of the trekking peaks and can be reached by trekking through a pristine wilderness. From the summit you can get a glimpse of an astounding range of high peaks: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga.

Another popular trek leads to Island Peak, which, at 6189 mters, offers spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse South Face, and Everest.
